Alex Woodlief is a Director on Avison Young's Tri-State Investment Sales Team, specializing in Manhattan's Midtown and Midtown South markets. With 15 years of experience, Alex has been involved in the underwriting, sale, acquisition and capitalization of over $4.5 billion of New York City commercial real estate, with specific expertise in office, commercial development, air rights and ground lease transactions.

Alex joined Avison Young after five years at B6 Real Estate Advisors, a middle-market investment sales and capital advisory firm based in New York City, where he led the firm's efforts to source, underwrite and execute investment sale and ground lease transactions in Manhattan.

Prior to B6, Alex worked at the Kaufman Organization, one of New York's oldest and largest private owners of office buildings, where he was responsible for sourcing new investment opportunities, managing landlord partnerships and business development initiatives.

Earlier in his career, Alex worked in the capital markets group of Cushman & Wakefield and at Realty Capital Securities, the wholesale broker-dealer of REIT sponsor American Realty Capital.

Alex graduated from Northeastern University with a B.S. in Political Science. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in New York and has held his FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses.
